The “AJ” stands for “Always Juggling” and if I tell you that I am the mother of four children and trying to balance family life with the need to earn an income then I think you will understand why!
Over the years I have amassed a load of experience in dealing with various issues to do with children and young people and I will post blogs here telling you about it. I am also passionate about the environment and try to do my bit to reduce our carbon footprint. However, with a large family I am also conscious how hard that can be. But thanks to a chance meeting with Janey Lee Grace, the Radio 2 Presenter, I am setting out on the path to trying to “green” my home even more than we have so far. As a result we are switching to using Soapnuts in place of chemical detergents and cleaners around the home.
The photo above is a view of Poppit Sands in Wales, one of our favourite places in the UK. We have been lucky enough to see dolphins every time we have visited. As a family we love all things wild and encourage birds into our garden to feed and nest – a lot easier now we do not have cats. Just wish the dog would not chase the wood pigeons though – she does not usually bother with anything smaller!
I have just started publishing web pages (called lenses) on Squidoo and am thrilled that my very second lens on Primary School Bullying made it into the top 2000 in its first week. Not bad when you consider that there’s over 400,000 lenses on Squidoo from all over the world!
I suffer from an ear complaint, (Otosclerosis which means that it is difficult for me to work at the moment, while I undergo physio to retrain my brain. I am therefore using this time to try to earn an income writing, which I love. To be honest I don’t know why it has taken me so long to get blogging but the time never seemed right to start it.
So here goes……

What a nice blog! I followed it from your tribute to Chef Keem.
Cheers!
